HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
-Any fabric you like
-Paper plate
-Glue
-Hole punch
-Brown ribbon for the stem
-Green pipe cleaner
-Pencil
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
(1) Cut out little squares (or any shape you want) of fabric (2) Glue the fabric scraps to the front of a paper plate in any design you like. (3) Use a hole punch to make a hole at the top of your plate. (4) Thread a piece of brown ribbon through the hole and then tie it so that you have a “circle” of ribbon you will use to hang your decoration. (5) Next wrap a pipe cleaner around a pencil in a clockwise motion and working your way up the pencil. (6) Insert the end of that pipe cleaner in the hole in the paper plate and wrap it around so that it stays secure. (7) You may want to cut your “leaf” shorter and also bend it a bit so that it looks pleasing to you. (8) Voila! Now you have a pretty apple decoration to sweeten your new year!
