MINI CARDBOARD APPLES
How cute are these mini cardboard apples?! Super cute! They’re so fun and easy to paint, too! Once you’ve made a few, you could put them in a bowl for a Rosh Hashannah centerpiece; you could sprinkle them on your Rosh Hashannah table to make it extra colorful and festive; or you could do anything imaginable with them to make your Rosh Hashannah special. I wonder how many you’ll paint and what you’ll do with them!
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
-Cardboard (thinner cardboard is easier to cut)
-Bottle cap (or any other circular object) to use as a tracer
-Acrylic paint in whatever colors you like. Apples are usually red, yellow, or green; but you can paint them any color you want!
-Paintbrush
-Scissors
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
(1) If you want, trace a bunch of circles or squares (or simply draw them freehand) on your cardboard. (2) Paint the main apple part (not including the stem or leaf) first and allow to dry a bit. Then paint the stem and leaf. (3) Allow everything to dry for a couple of hours. (4) Cut out all your circles (or whatever shapes you made) and then think of how you’ll use them to make your Rosh Hashannah extra special!
