MITZVAH CARDS
Teach your kiddos to notice when other people do a mitzvah with these cute little cards! On one side write “You just did a mitzvah! Thank you for making the world a better place.” On the other side, your kiddos can decorate it however they like. Sky’s the limit — markers, stickers, paint, collage! And when kids notice that others are doing mitzvot, they’re more likely to do some themselves! Pretty cool!
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
-Small blank business cards (you can buy them or cut them yourself — I used 2.75” x 2.75” square business cards)
-Paint, markers, stickers, photos — whatever materials you want to decorate the one side
-Optional: I used square labels (Avery #22806) for the “You just did a mitzvah” side, but it’s even better if kids write that themselves
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
(1) Write or use a label that says: “YOU JUST DID A MITZVAH! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE!” (2) Decorate the other side however you want. (3) Make a lot of them because you’re going to be noticing a lot of mitzvot! (4) When you see someone do a mitzvah, give them a card — won’t they be surprised! (5) Give yourself a card because guess what? YOU are doing a mitzvah by recognizing other people’s mitzvot! How ‘bout that!
