WOODEN “SHABBAT SHALOM” SIGN
“Shabbat Shalom!” What a beautiful greeting! It’s so nice to wish everyone a wonderful Shabbat, and making a “Shabbat Shalom” sign is another great way to do just that. Won’t your kiddos be so proud to make this, and won’t your family and friends feel so happy when they see a unique and welcoming “Shabbat Shalom” sign!
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
-Wooden plaque (I used 4.5” x 6” wooden plaques)
-Markers and colored pencils in whatever colors you like
-Mini wood easel (I used a 5” easel)
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
(1) Write your name and the year on the back of your plaque. (2) Write “Shabbat Shalom” in your favorite color on the front of the plaque. You can try writing it in Hebrew, too! (3) Next add whatever designs you like. It would be fun to draw some Shabbat symbols, like a challah, kiddush cup, and Shabbat candlesticks. (4) Find a good spot to display your sweet little sign!
