PAINTED WOOD LOVE HEART

As the Beatles famously sang, “All you need is love;” and on Tu B’Av, love is indeed what we need! Celebrate the Jewish holiday of love with a festive Painted Wood Love Heart — you can give it as a gift to a cherished loved one, or you can display it prominently in your home to remind you and your family of the power of love!

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

-Unfinished wood heart (I used a 9” heart that I bought at Michaels)
-Acrylic paint in whatever colors you like
-Paintbrushes

HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:

(1) Paint a background color on the heart and allow it to dry at least 30 minutes. (2) Paint the word “LOVE” on the heart and allow it to dry for a couple of hours. (3) Give your heart to a cherished loved one, or put it somewhere in your home to brighten your Tu B’Av celebration!
