RECYCLED LATKE BOX DREIDELS
Homemade latkes are so delicious, but there’s something so familiar and comforting about latkes made from a boxed mix — yum! Here’s a fun way to repurpose those latke mix boxes: use the cardboard to make dreidels! You can paint them, color them, put stickers or washi tape on them, or decorate them any way you want. Use them as Hanukkah decorations to make the Festival of Lights extra festive! Chag Hanukkah Sameach!
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
-Boxes from latke mix
-Recycled Latke Box Dreidels Template
-Scissors
-Marker
-Anything you want to decorate your dreidels (I used Scotch Washi Tape)
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
(1) Cut out the two larger panels of your latke box. (2) Print the Recycled Latke Box Dreidels Template and cut out one of the dreidels. (3) Place that dreidel onto one of the cardboard panels and trace it. (4) Cut out the cardboard dreidel. (5) Decorate the dreidel any way you like — paint, markers, stickers, dot markers, washi tape — sky’s the limit! (6) Repeat steps 1-5 to make as many Recycled Latke Box Dreidels as you like!
