WOOD SEDER PLATE
With this craft, children are able to closely examine and draw each item on the seder plate — what a fun way to learn about this central part of the Passover celebration! Children’s drawings are incredibly precious, and this craft will surely be a family keepsake that you will treasure for many Passovers to come!
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
-Large wood circle (I used a 12” size)
-Smaller wood circles (I used a 3” size) — you’ll need seven of them
-Markers (regular markers seem to work better than Sharpies)
-Glue
-Seder plate for reference (Google an image)
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
(1) Google a seder plate drawing or photo to use as a reference. (2) Draw one seder plate item on each of the six smaller circles, and write “Happy Passover” (or whatever you would like — it could be a design instead of letters, or both) on the last smaller circle. (3) Glue each circle onto the larger circle. (4) Make sure you write your name and the year on the back as this surely will be a keepsake to treasure for years to come!
