GLITTERY LEAVES GARLAND

Add some extra sparkle to your sukkah with a garland of glittery leaves! Just print the free Leaf Shapes PDF onto cardstock paper, put a thin layer of glue on each leaf and sprinkle it with glitter, run a length of ribbon or twine through all the leaves, and then hang your garland in your sukkah. HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

-Leaf Shapes PDF
-White cardstock paper
-Scissors
-Hole puncher
-Glitter
-White glue
-Paintbrush
-Wax paper
-Ribbon or twine

HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:

(1) Download and print the Leaf Shapes PDF onto white cardstock paper. (2) Cut out the individual leaves. (3) Punch two holes at the top of each leaf (this is where you will eventually string the ribbon). (4) Place the leaves on wax paper (this will help so that the leaves don’t stick to the surface once you paint them with glue). (5) Paint a thin layer of glue onto one of the leaves. (6) Immediately after you paint a leaf with glue, sprinkle a generous amount of glitter onto the top of that leaf. (7) Repeat steps 5 and 6 for as many leaves as you would like to make. (8) Allow the glue to dry for at least 45 minutes and then gently shake off the excess glitter into a trash can. Even when one is careful, somehow glitter manages to get everywhere! Remind yourself that kids love glitter so much, and it truly does make any craft extra magical!
