HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISRAEL PAPER BALLOONS

If you love Israel, you’ll love making these festive blue paper balloons to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day! I made a free PDF that includes several sizes of balloons — just print it, choose what size you like, trace it onto some blue paper, cut it out, and then decorate the balloons any way you like. I used washi tape, but you could use markers, crayons, colored pencils, stickers, and/or pieces of paper. Once you’re done decorating, you can hang your beautiful balloons on your wall or put them anywhere you want — they surely will make celebrating Israel’s birthday extra fun!

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

-Blue paper (I used Astrobrights 65 lb. Cardstock in Blast-Off Blue)
-Balloon Template PDF that includes several balloon sizes you can trace
-Pencil or crayon for tracing
-Scissors
-Hole puncher
-Curling ribbon
-Washi tape or whatever you want to decorate your balloons

HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:

(1) Print the free Balloon Template PDF; decide what size(s) you want your balloons to be; cut out that template and put it on your blue paper; trace the balloon; and cut it out. Do this for as many balloons as you like. (2) Next, decorate your balloons any way you want — be creative! (3) Put a single hole punch in the base of the balloon. (4) Cut some curling ribbon, thread it through the hole and then tie it.
